Following the thread "Chance of an Allotment" about how you could deal with an allotment if you have physical difficulty with gardening, I've added a few organisations to the weblinks sectionwhich might be able to help:

The arthritis research centre do a booklet about gardening with arthritis (primarily aimed at osteoarthritis and rhematoid arthitis by the looks of it) and lots of other booklets.
It's also generally worth contacting the organisation or charities that campaign for or research your particular disability, as they may have advice, or groups that can advice or even forums where you can discuss things with other people in a similar position.
Lastly if you have an occupational therapist or physiotherapist, they may be able to advise on specific techniques or equipment to help make things possible or easier. Who does what varies, so you may be refered from one to the other in different parts of the country. If you don't have one, ask your GP or consultant about a referal.
