Hi there, has come the day that we are selling our smallholding

We thought we would be here for yonks, but a nasty surprise illness means that we are going to sell it and go off travelling again while we still can. Hmmmmmmmmmm

So, if you fancy, or know of anyone who fancies some peace and quiet, beautiful open countryside and no near neighbours for less than the price of a little flat in London .... then this might be of interest. The house is huge, is double glazed, has oil central heating and a new Aga wood/solid burner, new carpets, radiators and piping. Lovely double height barn, 28ft garage/workshop, 3.2 acres in 2 paddocks all of which is grazed by Welsh fluffy munchkins but about 20% of which we have put over to conservation with a little pond etc.

Right, the sun has returned so am off to hunt out some blackberry concentrate I made last year after trawling the hedgerows and add it to some beer, then take a seat out in the field and listen to the birds !!! mmmmmmmmm !

sigh if only you'd done this 3 yrs ago, before we bought this place. Looks lovely, and we'd love that, but would have to sell this place 1st, and that's a good couple of years away. Good luck with the sale.

Looks great - sorry to hear your about your life changing news but your plan to travel sounds brilliant - hope you get a quick sale and travel far and wide - you never know, you might get as far as Asturias.

A word of advice: you need to put up photos of the inside of the house.
