Yes I am rather more mature than you guys. I'm retired/retarded ( you decide ) and this is what I do in lieu of a job. I must admit that it is rather a nice way to spend your time.
In the apple picking and pressing season I work my nuts off, or should that be pips? but by its very nature cider making is very seasonal. Getting the new barrel room ready for the coming season was a one off. Tonight I have to get some bag in boxes filled for the pubs but this is virtually the first thing that I've had to do with the cider for months.

I took the new pub a 10 litre box at 11.30 am and I've just had a phone call to say that they'd sold out. I'm taking them a 20 litre box this evening.

A pretty good day today. I managed to sit in the sun in my own front yard and sell �546 pounds worth of cider at two pounds a pint.
