At the moment it's got diced shoulder, some bacon, onion, celery, garlic, bay, s&p, red wine, tiny splodge of tomato puree and squidged up chestnuts thickening the sauce. So, black pudding too? Or is that an ingredient too far?

Go for it! Maybe diced and fried as a garnish if you think it would fall apart in the stew? It sounds delicious either way!

To much for me, but like the garnish idea.

I think it might be a Pork Product Too Far, personally. Sounds gorgeous.

No matter how many times I read that, I still don't understand. A pork product too far. That surely isn't possible.

It was only at the weekend I told the wife I wanted to try a sausagemeat and black pudding stuffed pork belly wrapped in bacon.

That's madness. You wouldn't get crackling.
