I seem to have had all my waterproof boots develop holes at the same time at the start of the wet season so looking for recommendations of something that might
last a little longer. I favour a rigger boit style with the fur lining but they always seem to come away from the sole far more quickly than hiking style boots, warmer though. Any advice?

Rigger style - look for those worn by firemen - tough and durable.
