As you say, some good ideas there. The carnation vase looks particularly good, but not sure how they keep it stable.

Wandering deeper into it you find how to make a small shredder from a few simple things. Looks like a summer project.

They weren't clear but I think it's probably do able. A tame engineer might be useful.

I believe they sell you the shredder and you then recycle with it.
