After having not sewn anything for months I have just started to replace a lining in a tudor child's jacket. It's rather nice and now I'm thinking of other things I could make. Watching Game of Thrones doesn't help. Some of the clothing in that is to die for!

Depends what class you are making for. As Stuart villagers, we had fairly plain clothing, but making that was quite interesting. We stuck to wool and linen for material, and while some of the colours weren't bad, we couldn't go for the really gaudy stuff the aristocracy wore.
