It was just like Christmas morning for this pair of city dwellers ! My son and daughter in law have just moved back from Switzerland and are stopping with us for a couple of days but what are they looking at in the purpose made beany hat?
There stay with us coincided with my first chicks of the season hatching last night in the incubator. �

I am so impatient for one of my silkies to go broody. Then I can get some eggs under her. She thought October was a good time for it last year (I was very tempted!)
