Hello! I haven't been by for ages - life etc etc, but the fragrant and helpful Nick said I should pop in and ask whether anyone has got any big feathers I could use to make quills out of. And because I do everything Nick says ...

I'm doing a project making oak-gall ink and that's sort of expanded a bit in to things to use to write. And possibly making paper as well

.

Any help gratefully received

You're the only Nick I've ever known. On the other hand I know several hundred people called Gervase

Hi Cheryl, Sorry I missed this thread - only just noticed it. I will check and see what I can find for you. I gave a whole lot away that I had picked up earlier this year but there's always something floating about. Shan xx
