here

ace snaps, some needed rather hi tech kit, some are with decent "normal" kit which is inspirational as that quality can be done with stuff some of us amateurs have.

Great pics though mostly not of actual bugs.

i recon they named it with a broad definition, one that many would prefer to assorted invertebrates rather than in the technical sense

Some really good pictures there, and pleasant on the whole too.

folk are too focussed on fluffy and cute with critters

see through with a light show or armour that would make henry8 jealous is ace.

kittens are cute but tardigrades are cute and more robust
the potato myriad in the hi6 snap is super cute
spiders come in several shapes and some are very beautiful and as impressive as cheetahs or tigers
the power to weight ratio in a flea is an engineer's delight to see when admiring a close up snap
the dancing ones are take cute to a new level
etc

textures, colours, shapes, dynamics are all there with "bugs", wonderful critters(if a bit bitey and toxic at times)
not for cuddles most times, i have had a tactile relationship with a young Birgus latro, it liked a gentle stroke when out of its shell and when it got bigger, it might have liked i do not understand but it seemed rather like brushing a mammal by the way it behaved

ps the adults are far too scary without gloves
