My broccoli has cropped, what do i do now.

Just pull them up. Or will they re-shoot for later in the year.

What sort of broccoli? If it is calabrese (green) or purple, you may be able to keep it going a bit. Purple will actually work as a perennial, but not quite as well, so you could get more next year from the same plant. White, or heading broccoli won't do any more, so lift it and replant with something else if you like.

Some varieties are more likely to send up usable side shoots than others.
If you look at the axillary buds (at leaf crotch) you'll see them sprouting up not too long after cutting the main broccoli head. You can decide if it's worth it to you too let them go, or if you'd rather replant that space

sorry, i am a reluctant super sniffer for sulphur bearing organic compounds, the stuff is worse than mink

That's the way I feel about ripe brie; pure ammonia to me.

Not very constructive though. Well, perhaps if you want to lay the foundations to something, but not otherwise.
