the question

i recon the last option will get quite a few votes

Invertebrates from several diverse ecologies are delicious and nutritious, most folk eat none or a very small variety of the options

sea slaters, yum, some of the wood boring beetle larvae yum etc, locusts not bad a bit crunchy, etc

there is lots of scope for sustainable farming of suitable candidates for a socially accepted and standardized ingredient, experimental and wild caught is a bit more niche

I was given a bucket of cricket frass to use as fertilizer from a now defunct cricket protein farm. I don't mind the idea, but I'm not overly drawn to it

Isn't it more common, globally, to eat insects than to not eat them?

When I was little and realised what prawns looked like, I refused my favourite scampi and chips for years. Fine now though.

Realistically I would find it easier to use things like cricket flour; but then that would be produced by multinational corps that I wouldn't want to support so I probably wouldn't buy.
