We're wanting to purchase and erect our first polytunnel up here in the far West of Ceredigion, only a mile from the sea. The wind literally howls across our land, although the appointed site for the said polytunnel has a fairly thick hedge on the windward side and we'll be using wind breakers too. We've researched how to secure the polytunnel in the most safe and efficient way up here, but can anyone recommend a type of polytunnel that is particularly suited to extreme weather conditions - and a manufacturer too?

(And many thanks to my dear husband Gervase for his other comments on 'wind' elsewhere on this site. I'll see you later when I get home... )

I know, I know. I keep threatening him with the Universal Declaration on Human Rights in that he is forcing me to suffer 'cruel and unusual punishment' after bean and cabbage stews...
