I've got a fishing expedition lined up for this evening after work . 6.00pm should see me spinning off the rocks for bass, mackerel and pollack .
I'll be fishing just around the corner from this pub. Have a look at their site on :- www.tycoch.co.uk
If I catch anything I'll try and get a picture and post it . Now I'm under pressure !

A guy on another site I post on, has caught a whole dustbin full of mackerel before. He says he has made a few circular slatted dividers for the bin, so as to prevent the fish in the bottom of the bin getting squashed in transit. He layered the fish between the slats.

He filled his freezer up!!

Not that you are under any pressure or anything Bodger

Have a great time!

Half a dozen will do me fine ! I'll probably blank now that I've opened my mouth !

If I ever catch a load of mackerel I usually hot smoke about 40 or 50 . Last year I made a slight error and had some coming out with a taste of petrol and I've never been allowed to forget it

Fishing results
Bass Nil .
Pollack one. ( didley one)
Mackerel seventeen .
Some Holiday makers were in our favourite spot , so my son and I were perched like limpets in an uncomfortable place so it wasn't how I imagined it was going to be but we still managed to fill a carrier bag full !
I will have to get down there earlier on Sunday !
