hi,
to those of you in France....what cream do you use to make ice-cream with? I'll be doing in by hand/whisk not an ice-cream machine if that makes any difference!

50cl milk, 135gm sugar with 6 to 8 egg youlks beaten into the sugar, plus 25 cl creme fraich, this is used to make a creme anglaise, which is the start of the ice cream
