My Mcafee subscription ran out. Can anyone recomemend an inexpensive but effective replacement pretty please?

AVG free for home use https://free.grisoft.com/ Avast has some fans but hasnt done as well in recent tests (also free) Do you have a firewall as well ? IF not you should get one. I use kerio from sunbelt software. I think theres a free version of zonealarm. Have a look at the PC mags in the newsagents - thy all give samples/freebies out on a regular basis.

I use avg as well and have never had a problem with it. one alarm do have a free firewall which we used, again with no problem. The only reason we switched to a sygate one was because it didn't support networks. I tried the avast free version but found avg easier

avast +ad aware work for me cant recall what the firewall consists of .recon it works do a clean and tidy during the reorganisation
