A couple have bought a run-down garden centre and farmhouse in Suffolk and are planning to grow chillis and open a Mexican restaurant... Bloody mad as cheese. Mind you - if we'd have gone with Channel 5 instead of Beeb 2 at least we'd have got paid...but you know Gervase

Look, sweetums, had we gone with Channel Five they would have wanted their money's worth by spending the whole filming period trying to get a wide shot of your rear end and getting footage of us arguing. Both of which, of course, are rarer than rocking-horse poo!

Their website looks excellent, and the content would suggest they have thought hard about things. Why don't the mods from DS contact them by e-mail and invite them to join here? Like a little welcome card (virtually)? I bet they would have some helpful hints if they are prepared to share soem stuff with others.

It was a good program, did anyone catch the previous weeks one in Ireland �45.000 to buyand �14.000 to fix and they did it.

the ireland people spent �30k not �14k in the end....family donations I think. Amazing result though. They seemed very happy!

I'll try to....I don't go that way very often.....about once every six months....its on the way to the abattoir
