Wild buffalo are mean critters, that was the standard house cattle in Pakistan till a few years ago. Maybe the mini ones have a better temperament

I can't milk a 'baby' buffalo - what about my street cred

Ideal single freezer size more likely

Buffalo. Ulster Armagh
Pot belly, due in 2wks, just like wild buffalo but are only 2' tall, much the same as a pot belly pig, very tame, 8 males & 6 females, 80. 079-68139856 [save ad]

Actually. Mike's first choice would be Dexter, but they have a reputation, thanks to Hugh, of being hard to handle?

This is me thinking of coping solo during the week

check this out:
https://www.animalinfo.org/species/artiperi/bubamind.htm

especially the tidbits ..

*** The tamaraw is one of the world's rarest mammals.

*** Natives of Mindoro feared the tamaraw because of its aggressiveness.

are you sure that will be a good alternative to the AA ?
