Got back this morning with shopping bags groaning - I got three 5m cloches (the sort with hoops) for ï¿½3.49 each, 10 metres of fleece for two quid, a pair of garden clogs for ï¿½2.99, and best of all loads of veggie seeds at........29p a packet!!!! Have had success with their flower seeds in the past, so am going to give the veg a try. I got all sorts, from beans and peas to kohl rabi, melons and gourds, so will let you know how I get on.

All I need now is to get the allotment!

I got some stuff too - had to fight off all the oldies who were in there snapping up the cheap gardening stuff too. Some of the over 65s can be quite lethal with a shopping trolley and a walking stick when getting bargains

I got a cloche, two lots of fleece, a couple of window boxes for my herbs, and a kneeling pad. I wanted one of those cultivaters becuase they were ï¿½4.99 but there was only a couple left when I got there (10.00 am) and it was handbags at ten paces for those

Got to the Newbury branch of Lidl about 2pm (Im on nights) they had sold out of polly tunnels hours ago Yes, i know should have gone at 9 this morning. Dave

I got 4 cloches ( 2 to use, and 2 as spares), and a mini greenhouse thing. (the lower one, for 12.99) They didn't have any fleeces here. Also did my easter egg shopping!

OOOO yeh they do the best selection of marzipan eggs. I got one filled with plums in madeira, all for me!!!!
