I was given a pumpkin for Halloween last year and it was still green, so I left it in the lean to. It's finally gone orange all over, would it still be good to eat or should I just fling it away?

We still have several from last year. We ate a couple last month and they're still fine.

If the pumpkin is still firm, with no signs of rotting then it should be ok. Once cut if it smell fine then it should be ok. They can last into summer if kept dry and cool (and free from mice).

Not all pumpkins do go orange, some of ours are still grey/green with a hint of orange.

Take care as they can be very tough to get through.
