Nick it is an excellent idea.

It is worth focussing on the positives in any situation.

Good point- now those who have bought in bulk & filled their freezers before have been insulated from this effect to a certain extent, so get your order in early & stock up as soon as the ban is lifted!

Well said Nick, it's the way I always try to look at things, "opportunities" are much easier to address than "problems".

Unless you're experiencing the opportunity to learn how to fly, rather than addressing the problems of falling off a cliff.

I think the basic notion that Nick put forward was a sensible one, obviously it's up to an individual how they implement it within their own business. I've certainly never seen doom and gloom help in any business, anything that gets you thinking positively is a bonus.

All that he is saying is that if you lay the groundwork you can be in a stronger position than your competitors when the time comes.

The real life examples of cases are many....

I'd rather see people sit and deal with a situation, planning for the future and coping, than sitting there able to do nothing, and getting deeper into trouble.

My usual consultancy rates apply.
