Check out this inovative, and relatively new building material. <a href="https://www.hybridadobe.com">Hybrid Adobe</a> The inventor visited our campus and gave a workshop. Its super easy to make and very insulative and strong. The inventor has built his house in colarado out of papercrete and hybrid adobe.

if you seal it, it apparently lasts a long time. It's a pretty solid material. We have a couple of bricks of it in our garden, with glass and stuff in them--just for decoration.
