I've finally decided to try LED bulbs, just ordered two of these for our downstairs bog:

I'll let you all know how they go.

I think the catch is that they are only about the same light output as a 25watt standard bulb.

Where did it say about discounts? If they're any good maybe we could negotiate a Downsizer discount??

Dunno, if they're replacing 12v25w halogen's then they should be broadly similar (that's what I'm hoping anyway)

I was beggining to think I was cracking up But this is the first page I saw:

https://sslrelay.com/www.led-lightbulbs.co.uk/sess/utn;jsessionid=1542a6d2e247dda/shopdata/index.shopscript

and I assumed the 25% would be across the board.

Its playing silly buggers with the links, it is under the white light GU10 replacement bulbs. Buy 10 and you get 25% off.

That is the type I want, so the first one I looked at, hence me thinking is was going to be on all bulbs.

LED bulbs can give off a good amount of light. I'd be interested to if there are any warnings as the LED tourches I have warn you not to look at the bulbs when on. Not sure why.
