Idea shamelessly lifted from a Money Saving Expert poster, and I've found some farms that run the scheme:

The theory is that you're supporting a local grower and getting local fruit - hopefully at a good price to you. Whether that's true of all these or not, I don't know, but it can only be worth exploring!

I can recommend eapples (Lathcoats) we try to buy all our apples there, in season they'll have up to 20 varieties on sale in the farm shop as well a few different pears
