Ta, Nettie!...Dave, they sell them at that price because they CAN sell them at that price!.....My mate Paul makes chicken coops that would cost 250 in a garden centre to the same quality, and sells for 130. I bought one off him. He makes and sells one a day!
They cost about 30 in materials so you can work out his income from that.
i,d love to make more of the dove cotes for about 150 pounds but i doubt anyone would want to pay that amount even though they cost 400 in the garden centres wot do you all think

There is definatly a market out there for all sorts of wood items, my son makes hutches, coops, kennels etc and a local feed merchant, chain of pet shops buy them off him, he fell into this quite by accident by commenting on some workmanship on a kennel that was in one of the shops, we know the owner so he was discussing it with us, then he asked my son to make him some items and ever since has bought them off him. A very enterprising sixteen year old!
And did I!!!!!!!.....WOOOOOAAAAAHHHH!!!!!.....Bloody brilliant!...wore my waterproof boxers, but it was just fab!...went over my house and wood at 95 mph, dropped to 200 feet over house to shout to wifey, then back up to 1500 ft. Amazing!
