Dave - you clever chap, I love your dove cote. Wish we could have doves, but my hubby would have a funny turn if I suggest any more animals at present.

the wood is just soft wood but well coated in a weatherproof varnish each opening has a seperate room for the birds and yes some people paint them white but i prefer them natural wood colour

they look like the forsham ones so under their price by a fiver and you'll be a millionaire soon.............

the forsham stuff is mega expensive i think............

Just wondering if the centre of the dove cot is hollow, or if the birds have seperate compartments? Is it easy to clean? Could we have the dimensions?

hi to sally and caz well sally yes you can get in to clean each of the 6 seperste compartments it,s quite easy also to caz there is an upstairs and downstairs3 rooms up and 3 rooms down the size of it is about 28 inches plus the roof the only reason i came up with 150 pounds was in 2 garden centres i went to they were a bit smaller and both wre 400 pounds + also the diameter is about 18 - 24 inches or about if i made another i would,nt take any money till the person had it erected and was really happy just get pleasure making them not about the money

How scary are they on the delivery front? I have one in mind for a relative in Berkshire- would they go postal or would i need to come and pick up if I ordered one?
