Is it just me or is anyone else having problems typing a long reply. If the text is more that the size of the message dialogue box I get the scoll bar at the side as normal but every time I type a letter I only get to see the message box, not what I am typing lower down. I can't delete anything below the message box as it immediately jumps back up and highlights the bottom line of mesage box not the bottom line of the whole message. Does that make sense?

Aha - now I'm having exactly the same problem Rosie...plus 'wobbling' on certain buttons.

Hmm, that's interesting. I'll have a ponder, and will come back later. I may have questions

Are you using IE8? I've noticed this behaviour in DS reply boxes when the textual content extend beyond the box.

Edit. I've only noticed it happening on DS.

The wobbles have gone but I'm still having problems on long replies. I'm on IE8.

You could always type it into word then cut and paste - you can spell check then as well!

Don't know about IEx, but Firefox will spell check for you in text boxes if have a dictionary add-in loaded.

Try clicking Compatibility View. This is the icon to the immediate left of the address bar, it looks like two halves of a torn page.

For more information on Compatibility View

Unwise to copy text from word especially of the text box is HTML aware, better to copy and paste from a plain text editor such as Notepad for instance. For spell checking capability in IE download and install IE7Pro
