Any ideas what to have with rosehip soup, made some earlier with lemon and sugar, but can't work out what I could serve with it.

I've never heard of that! Is it a desserty-type thing? You could serve it with cinnammon rolls or something like that?

It's popular in the nordic countries I believe, made by boiling up rosehips, straining the liquid, thickening and adding sugar and lemon juice.

The result being a fruit soup, just trying to find something to serve it with.

Mihto and Erikht are our Official Nordic Experts ... perhaps they will be able to tell you what it is traditionally served with.

Nyponsoppa or rose hip soup is an everyday classic among Swedish desserts. Eat it along with a few macaroons or almond flakes, plus a dollop of whipped cream on top

I visited Hamburg in 1967 or 68, and had a fruit soup for the first time- Cherry Soup, as a starter, in very hot weather....bliss

Sounds like the stuff you used to get with rice pudding for school dinners in the olden days.
