I finally did it, my new raised bed is all filled with compost/soil and I have even managed to get some things planted in it!

Onions, spring onions, beetroot, mixed lettuce leaves, potatoes. All planted.

Such a good feeling.

Absolutely.
It's a great feeling looking at a freshly-sown bed. All that promise of things to come.

Looks great but I don't recognise the stuff inside. Shouldn't it be heavy, sticky big lumps like the stuff I try and grow things in?

Looks lovely, well done. I am as confused as Anneand Mike as to what the strange free flowing stuff in it is though.
