I can't help thinking that there could be an update due for Martin in the Trading Post section-

marsjupiter.com previously known for software, are moving slowly into the area of web design and implementing shopping carts for small businesses. The process started by us being appalled at the awful and expensive web design service we saw done for our favourite homebrew shop Arkwrights. We resolved to fix this, and have since realised there is a crying need for people who will work ethically with small businesses which have minimal computer literacy.

As is required here, the companies that post adverts must provide references to forums they post on. I post under the id jema on rivercottage.

From my own experience his services come highly recommended

thanks

I actually use :

www.m4webdesign.co.uk

as the base for web design work these days.

But I have been leery of placing yet another advert on the site for me. I have one for:

https://www.myfreeforum.org/

and one for marsjupiter which I would use to advertise the other stuff I do there, which is of some interest to forum users.

So I think a 3rd might start to make downsizer look like an advert for "jema" enterprises

I think I would prefer it if you update the old ads and change the dates on them. People's businesses inevitably change (at the very least prices go up) and I wouldn't want out of date info hanging around the site. So I think you should update marsjupiter, and possibly put on a new separate one for the web design one.

I thought you may be thinking that, but all I keep hearing (mainly from Tahir) is sell sell sell (and don't sell yourself short). You've put a lot of work into this site & if you won't blow your own trumpet, then we'll have to

I agree. I took a look at my wool ad the other day & it was well in need of updating.
