I am currently with Orange on a combined phone and broadband package which includes the line rental. When in contract I was paying 25 per month, but when it ran out they upped the fees to 33 per month claiming that BT have raised the amount they are charging Orange for the line.

I am tempted to change providers as I think I am paying too much, but am worried that if I move I will be without service for a while, which I can't afford to be.

Any advice? Anyone else switched providers?

I'm with the Phone Coop and more than happy, also not paying as much as you now are.

I know some have had problems with TalkTalk but I've used them for years, they rung me up last week and I'm getting my full service for 7.50 per month for the next two months, rather than the usual 25.00, which is nice.

I moved over to Talk Talk earlier this year. Their phone service is, well, a phone service but their broadband is shite.

Sky where very good. Couldn't fault them.

We switched to Talktalk earlier this year - regretted it immediately (agree about their broadband). Fortunately Madasafish took us back with minimal disruption and also beat Talktalk's monthly rate. Have no hesitation in recommending Madasafish - their customer service is excellent

I can't fault Sky - Their service is good and I've no quibbles about their price either - when I changed I didn't even loose service - no sorry I lost broadband for as long as it took to change the routers over

Couldn't agree more about Talk Talk, they really are awful. I would change to Sky but I really object to giving the Murdoch Family any money. Are there any ethical packages out there?

I have to say that I have been with Talk Talk for a long time as well and am very happy with all aspects of their service and only pay about 21 a month, which will increase by 5 on 1st October due to BT increasing the rental charge.
