With the recent wet and windy weather,I decided to try out a field that partially floods,for duck.

The signs were good as there was early activity,but not close enough for a shot,still as the light faded I managed to get one from the only group,of 4,that came in!
When I inspected it I found the crop was stuffed with acorns,which was a surprise as I`ve never seen this before.

Well I know what`s for supper now

If it had been hazels or chestnuts you would have got a ready stuffed bird!
