This is a start someone has made on a web site using my free forums system:

https://farnboroughinvincibles.co.uk/history.html

note it is on its own domain name, but that is not needed.

The advertising is a lot more restricted than other services I have seen, and we have 70 odd templates that can be used as a starting point for pages.

I expect to add some forms/ecommerce capability soonish.

You can sign up at one of:

https://www.myfreeforum.org/
https://www.myfastforum.org/
https://www.myfunforum.org/
https://www.myfanforum.org/
https://www.myfineforum.org/

the ony real difference is the name.

Here is my little effort so far, taking one of my supplied templates and tweaking it a bit. I am doing this more as testing and examples to others than anything else:

Just for info: I have a "business" account with 1&1 - loads of space and loads of features for about a tenner per month. Crucially, one can easily have various domains pointing to different parts of that webspace - a service which other hosting providers seem to charge somewhat larger amounts of dosh for.
