Neighbour's beasts in the veg plots again. That's more onions trampled. Precious little left for them to spoil now, but what little there is is precious. I really don't want to drive them out the way they came in (over the veg again and down the burn), but do I really want to walk them up the track, along the public road and back into the field where they should be ?

A small group of bullocks. I've just walked them up the track, and left them by the field gate to talk to the ones that hadn't got out. Farmer came down from the hill shortly after, so they've been put back where they should be.

I need to borrow his pickup, so will need to be patient about the ongoing lack of water-gate (which he has started work on). He's a very good neighbour, but he does have a bit of a stock-proofing and not shutting gates problem.
