I was planning on switching on for the second half and ignoring the bit about apples. Cooked fruit is the food of satan anyway.

Saw a recipe the other day that called for apple rings stuffed with haggis.

Watching this last night I wondered why James Martin prefaced every use of 'British apples' with 'good old'. Has a law been passed that says you must?

Actually, you could just shorten that whole sentance to 'why James Martin?'

I must admit I thought of Tahir when Brogdale came up. I don't think you missed anything though, apart from taking rare delicately flavoured apples and ruining them with as many strong spices as possible.

Why, doesn't Tahir like Brogdale?

Or I could even ask himself - Tahir, don't you like Brogdale?
