Wonder if you can do an insulated box and a frozen product post to N.Ireland?

I love the idea of trying products from folk I've met online - even if I don't end up doing any sort of regular order.

Oh and are the sausages also grain-free? Guess probably not, but worth asking as I'm avoiding all grains just now.

I'll have another looking into send to NI - I know it is possible (as our packaging insulates for up to 48 hours) but the last time I checked it was prohibitively expensive or the carrier wouldn't accept perishables. We could try sending it as non-perishables, but then I'd be worried about it getting there. I'll check first though.

Yes they are grain free - they're about 98% meat content, which I didn't think would be quite as good but we had some on Saturday and now I'm considering entering them in the taste awards this year - not what I expected at all.

I've had a look at Tesco & Sainsburys gluten free sausages and they are about 1.50 per kg cheaper, but when you look at the ingredients they have less meat in (88% & 76% respectively) and I noticed the Tesco ones even have added water.

Great idea with the taste awards. There is an opening market I think for grain free and grass fed. All the paleo folk go for grass fed. There's a FB Paleo page for UK (will check next time I wander onto FB.... & send yo a linky.)

PS We rarely have any diffs with parcel force arriving quickly - so I'd take the risk if you like....

Are your sausages on your FB ordering site yet - I didn't see them, as that's where I went first to check the grain free angle. Maybe I just didn't look hard enough of course!

Yes, they should be there - there is a second page but the link isn't very clear for it - it's just at the bottom of the listings on the first page, and the sausage box is next to last. There's an option for Gluten Free on the drop down menu, but it doesn't matter if you select the wrong one this time, as I know it's for gluten free.

I've just added a 'Next Day Shipping 3' option that is for 13, which seems to be what Parcel Force are charging for Next Day but that is up to 30kg, so you could add another 25kg of meat, wool or even bricks if you like...

Our sausages have arrived...and they are absolutely yummy!!i was a bi9t worried as they dont appear to have any rusk in them that they might be dry...but they are juicy, tasty and delicious..TBH I prefer them to sausages with rusk in, and they are nice and smooth rather than coarse which we don't like...altogether a meaty feast!!

Well donr Rob...and folks I should order some if I were you

Thank you - another box has gone out today, and I'm beginning to think that getting rid of the pigs was a bad idea...

However it is a lot less stressful only having a handful.

I feel justified in saying that I'm very pleased with those pigs - concentrating on quality over quantity has paid off. Still miss their mother, though.
