Is it worth getting a "pair of legs" for my BRNO .22? the only thing I'd worry about is elevating the shot from a safety point of view ...

I am implacably opposed to artex in all forms. Skim it properly.

couldn't agree more; why not go the whole hogg and 'plaster' the ceiling with polystyrene tiles or posters of the Bay City Rollers ...

if its marble strips try using them as pantry shelves (if you've a pantry) its amazing how cold marble and slate keeps things.
