cheap is good, I'd like a flash rugged notebook, but I can't convince myself that the extra ruggedness and speed would ever be justified, especially as it would be more likely to be stolen etc.

I think YouTube is limited to 9 min clips or something similar. You can divide the video up and upload as seperate clips however. The limit may just be for copyrighted material.
