I have an opened but hardly used bag of layers mash - the girls prefer the pellets.

I bought a bag of both tried on the mash and have stayed with pellets.

Thanks for all the advice - a couple of days of solitary seems to have done the trick

Still only getting 2 eggs a day from 4 birds - hopefully they'll all get back in the swing soon.

She seems to be messing up the others laying.

If i try to move her she pecks like mad (have to wear welding gloves to move her).

She sits on her egg and then wont seem to let the others in to la ...

I've noticed one of the chickens has lost its fluffy feathers around its bottom and its bare and red - looks like its just been plucked.

I'm guessing this is a symptom of something.

We've started giving our new Wyandotte Bantams a few kitchen scraps like potato peelings, carrot peelings etc.

I've given them a few bits of bread from the end of a loaf, and they go crazy for it ! ...
