I know people who have made perfectly drinkable, in fact very pleasant cider from shop bought apple juice.
Very simple and easy to do, and probably cheaper than kits.

It really depends on taste as to whether you decide to re-sweeten or not. I quite like a fairly dry cider, so I'm happy to let it drop right down to 1.000 or thereabouts and then bottle.

I find it quite odd that a tradition that was started by the Nazis in order to endorse Hitler's regime in the build up to the Berlin Olympics in 1936 has become so popular tbh. |
