Dahlia tubers are a vegetable in their own right as DorsetScott has mentioned. They are called 'Yacon'. 'Oca' is another root that is better known for its flower. Looking at this link I may try growin ... |

I'm glad to hear that! I made Indian Cheese once but that's really easy. Now a good Cornish Yarg or a Smoked Cheddar would be an excellent project to undertake.
