You can take cuttings from live wood now, and any time up until March as a rough estimate. They should do fine willow is very resilliant.

I have a BSA Supersport which is very good and close to the 12 ppsi limit, so powerful but still legal without FAC. It cost me around �250 with the scope.

Rule of thumb is to plant deciduce trees early winter and evergreen late winter. As it's in a pot you will be ok anytime but it may do better to plant soon.

Just mention - if you don't know bin any seeds that float they won't germinate.
....and my lettuce is still going strong, despite a few herd frosts !
