| It's not the caterpillars that I'm battling...but myriad of teeny tiny snails hiding amongst the veg foliage. Mind you...they do squash exceedingly easily. |

| Second to Sungold - is Black Cherry - grown for the first time, in the greenhouse. Lovely flavour. Never grown it before but will definitely grow it again next year. |

Thank you for the tip about not putting them on the compost heap. Also, didn't know that you could freeze them - thank you.
We've been eating them raw at the moment, as they're ripening only ... |

| I've raised a few in the past. They were one of the most friendly birds I've come across. Gentle and calm. Can't comment on how they taste though. |
