This sounds weird but if you put a thin layer of meths on the bad part, set fire to it and watch the white disappear, then quickly smother the flames before it starts to melt the polish. It may be bet ... |

Just keep in mind that technically it is not a saw but a chisel, it will not cut your flesh but gouge it. |

Pour on a thin layer of methelated spirits, set fire to it watch the white marks disappear then quickly put out the meths. before it melts the polish. |
