It will give the brasica seedlings a hardening off over here (4 miles down the road)

I would start with veg that will go to seed easilly....
You can sow all your parsnips at once and leave them in the ground.

Toms tend to fruit all the time they can so they may not be a good examp ...

We used to make it with a bread maker�.
But there are some disadvantages, we were eating far too much of the stuff and started resembling two buns ourselves. The recipes were not the healthiest.
