yep,
look these up
giant puffball, 20cm is edible and nice, more importantly it is a definite id that eliminates all the small and sometimes rather nasty species
20cm will show itself as well
velvet shank, on a dying tree, colours, frosty weather. very easy id . and few dangeroos things live on trees
dump the stalks, the caps are wonderful fried or in something
i have less than one species per year of my life, since i started i try to add one every year
most are food, a few are shaman (by a few i might think more than most )
i could do livia, but that is a very different sort of breakfast to my feasts
learn the easy mistakes, a few are very nasty ones
never be bold
there are nice shrooms that will be forever friends once you are introduced
the tinder and knife stropping ones are fun |
