Not really organised enough for the 'Local Summer' challenge - but we have just had a lovely meal, all brought home with us from Ma's;

Lamb chops, flat beans, baked potatoes, onion gravy.

Mmmmm.

Sounds tasty and comfort eating to suit the weather. It's been wet and cold on and off here all day.

Although Ruby and I did have a bowl of raspberries straight out of the garden.

Had a reasonably local supper : Cumberland sausage from Carlisle (25 miles); Ayrshire spuds (well, at least they're from the south of Scotland) mashed with home-grown parsley [but onion from supermarket]; with someone else's home-grown cabbage.

I was very tempted to roast ham and have it with a big pile of mashed spuds. It's sunny today, though.
