I've got one if you want. But is it worth it when they're so cheap to buy? Also got a fusion splicing kit if you're ever doing anything with fibre optics.

I'll call when I have a spare two mins, being cheap do you have a jack to go with that or am I off to Maplin first?

Yes I did mean RJ45 - RJ47 is of course a telecoms connection. This work stuff doesn't agree with me

After all of that I've just discovered the the only MasonMaster I have that is long enough to go through the wall is 0.5mm too small to get the cable and the jack through as a whole. With a bit of a wiggle it looks like I might be able to do the job with a standard pre made cable Last edited by mrutty on Thu Jan 06, 05 7:03 pm; edited 1 time in total
