Borrow? I might have one but it'd take some searching, and then I've got to get it down to you. Can you get one on eBay?

I've got one if you want.

But is it worth it when they're so cheap to buy?

Also got a fusion splicing kit if you're ever doing anything with fibre optics.

Well I am just around the corner, so I assume my rj45 crimper will be called upon first!

I'll call when I have a spare two mins, being cheap do you have a jack to go with that or am I off to Maplin first?

Yes I did mean RJ45 - RJ47 is of course a telecoms connection. This work stuff doesn't agree with me

After all of that I've just discovered the the only MasonMaster I have that is long enough to go through the wall is 0.5mm too small to get the cable and the jack through as a whole. With a bit of a wiggle it looks like I might be able to do the job with a standard pre made cable

Don't you mean 5mm (get an antiwork shot from the doctor)?
