I put this here as i guess more people here eat eggs than else where on the board. Anyone got any tips on who to best clean scrambled egg from a pan?

Hard work............. I always microwave scrambled eggs as its easier to clean off a plastic jug. Bit late for that I guess though..

Soak, then scrape the worst off with a square wooden spatula. Finish with a plastic scrubby thing.

Turn off the heat just before it turns completely from liquid. Leave it a couple of minutes to finish cooking, then give one last stir with wooden spoon

You should find less stuck to the pan than usual.

For pans with anything stuck on them I usually find boiling up water and washing soda in it usually does the trick. I help it along by scraping the bottom with a wooden spoon as it boils.

I make mine in a non-stick frying pan. No stuck-on residue to worry about.

1. get the pan nice and hot first
2.add a teaspoon of oil and coat the inside of the pan
3.use fresh eggs
4.keep stirring and turn the heat off just before it has finished cooking(as posted already)

If all else fails, I put cold water in the pan (hot will cook it on further) and a bit of washing soda. Bring to the boil, and leave it, covered, to cool.

Non stick pans.....

I used to hate 'em, too. Then I got one of these and my attitude to non-stick stuff changed. It really is a brilliant bit of kit. And it stays brilliant because I won't let M-J anywhere near it with metal implements .

Those ceramic pans are the dog's.

Even Madame Bear can't destroy them.
